I’ve been dreading writing this post for a long while now, but I suppose that an apology is as good a way as any to start the New Year. In May 2008, as I was wrapping up work on my undergraduate degree and looking for a job, I was really itching to get back into the studio and record another full-length solo album.

2012 – the return of blogging?

I miss blogging. I really do. I started my first blog on the Blogger platform several years ago, before it was bought by Google. (HA! Just typed in my old blogger address to see if it was still active, and apparently I let it die. It’s now titled “West Virginia Jobs”, no doubt because there’s a town in WV called Iaeger.) I switched to WordPress when it felt like Blogger was getting bloated and bulky, and after recently switching web-hosting services, I decided to install WP on my own domain (phillaeger.com). WordPress is beautiful, easy-to-install and infinitely customizable; there’s a ton of free and premium themes and plugins available, with new ones coming out daily. But I digress…
